Indiana Democratic Strategists Fact Check Indy Star: Confirm Destiny Wells Polling Data as "Hogwash”

In the race for Indiana Attorney General, incumbent Todd Rokita appears to be cruising towards a decisive victory against his radical left-wing opponent, Destiny Wells. New polling conducted by A Better America, an Arlington, Virginia-based organization, reveals Rokita leading with a commanding 64% of the vote, while Wells garners just 32%. The poll, conducted between August 31st and September 2nd, included over 2,500 registered Indiana voters, leaving only 4% undecided.

This substantial lead further solidifies Rokita's position as he continues to connect with conservative Hoosiers, drawing on his strong track record as Attorney General. On the other hand, Wells has struggled to gain momentum among Indiana voters, who remain wary of her progressive platform in a state known for its conservative leanings.

Despite these numbers, the Wells campaign released its own poll, conducted by Lake Research Partners, which portrays a much tighter race. According to Wells’ team, their survey of 600 likely voters between August 26 and September 2 shows Rokita leading 44% to Wells’ 41%, a statistical tie within the poll's 4% margin of error. This narrative suggests a far closer contest, but seasoned Democratic strategists are now throwing cold water on Wells' claims.

Several top Democratic strategists in Indiana have stepped forward to fact-check the data, calling Wells' polling "hogwash" and questioning both the methodology and sample size. Kelly and Bob, two influential Democratic insiders, have confirmed that the Lake Research Partners survey is deeply flawed, with inaccurate projections that are not reflective of the actual sentiment in the state. They stated bluntly that "Rokita has the race in the bag," with the broader and more comprehensive polling by A Better America showing the true lay of the land.

The criticism doesn't end with Wells’ polling data. Indiana strategists have also called out **Indy Star** for amplifying Wells' numbers, accusing the media outlet of spreading misinformation. According to these strategists, the media's portrayal of a competitive race between Rokita and Wells is not grounded in reality, but rather an attempt to generate attention around a struggling campaign.

As Rokita's consistent conservative message resonates with voters, Wells' progressive platform continues to face headwinds. With less than two months until Election Day, it appears that the majority of Indiana voters are standing firmly behind Rokita, favoring his approach to law and order, pro-business policies, and unwavering commitment to traditional values.

While Wells’ team continues to push their narrative of a competitive race, Democratic strategists and political insiders alike are dismissing it as a long shot at best. Indiana's conservative stronghold seems well-secured under Rokita’s leadership, and the path forward for Wells looks increasingly narrow.

Hoosiers, ever loyal to conservative principles, are once again rallying behind the steady hand of Todd Rokita, positioning him for another term as Indiana’s Attorney General.
