Indiana Attorney General Rokita Smokes Radical Left-Wing Opponent in New Polling

Incumbent Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita appears to be cruising towards a decisive victory against his radical left-wing Democratic opponent, Destiny Wells, according to new polling data. A recent survey by a Better America, an organization based out of Arlington, Virginia, shows Rokita leading with a commanding 64% of the vote, while Wells garners just 32%. The poll, which was conducted from August 31st to September 2nd, included over 2,500 calls to registered voters across Indiana. The remaining 4% of respondents were undecided.

These numbers highlight Rokita's strong position in the race as he appeals to conservative Hoosiers while maintaining a steady track record as Attorney General. Wells, in contrast, has struggled to gain traction with voters who are skeptical of her more progressive platform in a state that has remained reliably Republican in recent years.

However, the Wells campaign has released its own polling data, which paints a slightly different picture. A phone survey conducted by Lake Research Partners, a D.C.-based firm working for the Wells campaign, suggests the race might be closer than expected. Their survey, taken from August 26 to September 2 with a smaller sample size of 600 likely general election voters, shows Rokita leading with 44% to Wells’ 41% — a statistical tie within the poll's 4% margin of error.

Despite the Wells campaign’s claims of a tighter race, seasoned Democratic strategists Kelly and Bob, who have been following the election closely, have confirmed that the Lake Research poll was flawed in its methodology. According to them, Rokita has the race “in the bag,” as the larger and more thorough polling conducted by a Better America demonstrates the incumbent’s widespread support across the state.

Indiana voters appear to be rallying behind Rokita’s consistent conservative message, and with less than two months to go until Election Day, his campaign seems to be in a strong position to secure another term as Attorney General.

With Destiny Wells leaning heavily on her progressive platform, her struggle to sway voters from Rokita’s base only reinforces the dominance of conservative values in the state. While anything can happen before Election Day, it seems that Hoosiers are ready to keep their state on a path aligned with traditional values and conservative principles under the leadership of Todd Rokita.
